Sage Stuffing
"Stuffing" can mean a lot of different things depending on who you ask. If you ask a Tyrian, they're apt to tell you it's a lightly fried, herbed, breadcrumb concoction. There are, of course, many variations on this theme, but I've outlined Tyrian stuffing in its most basic form below.
1 Oil works just as well if you need to make this vegan, I just have a tendency to reach for the butter first in most cases. Back
Sage Stuffing
Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. butter1
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. fresh breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp. chopped fresh sage
- salt & pepper, to taste
Directions
- Melt the butter over medium-low heat.
- Add the onion and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the breadcrumbs and sage and season to taste with salt and pepper and cook for another 2 minutes.
