Herbed Meat Stock
If you like a slightly more complex flavour to your stocks, this is the recipe for you! It takes the standard Tyria red meat stock and adds a bunch of extra herbs to produce a rich, savoury broth. A perfect base for any number of soups and stews.
Herbed Meat Stock
Ingredients
- ~3L red meat stock
- 1 pile of simple stew herbs
- 2 large sprigs of fresh rosemary
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh sage (or 1 tsp. dried)
Directions
- If you are making the stock from scratch, then combine all of the stock ingredients in the pot/slow cooker with the herbs and follow the instructions for stock as usual. If you are using ready-made stock, then add the herbs to it, bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 30-60 minutes.
- Strain and use as directed.
