Simple Stirfry

This stirfry has few ingredients but is nonetheless delicious. It comes together very quickly; most of the time is spent chopping ingredients.

Bowl of Simple Stirfry
2 Tbsp. garlic paste
2 onions, chopped
1 steak, thinly sliced
black pepper
4 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
dark soy sauce
peanut oil

Heat a wok over high heat. Coat with peanut oil and add onions and garlic. Stir-fry until aromatic, then add the steak and black pepper. Continue to stir-fry until steak is cooked.

Remove steak and onion with a slotted spoon. Add carrots and enough water to just cover them. Cook, covered, stirring frequently, until the carrots have the desired tenderness and the water has almost entirely cooked off.

Return steak and onions to the wok. Mix with carrots until heated through; add soy sauce until delicious.
