Spicy Meat Kabob

As far as I can tell these grilled kabobs were first made by the Humans of Ascalon. Chunks of meat and savoury vegetables were skewered and cooked over a fire. Similar meat kabobs are still made in Kryta to this day. The Ascalonian version, however, has evolved somewhat. The Charr have adapted the recipe to their own tastes, keeping the ingredients, but changing the preparation to suit their needs. Below you will find both versions.

Spicy Meat Kabob (Charr Version)
1 lb. beef, cut into large chunks (I used a boneless blade roast)
2 cloves garlic, peeled
1/2 small onion, cut into large chunks
1 jalapeño, cut into large chunks (I ran out of jalapeños and substituted 2 bird's eye chilies instead)
salt and pepper to taste

Combine garlic, onion, chili, salt, and pepper. Grind into a fine paste, adding water as needed to keep it workable. About 1/4 c. water should be sufficient. (A small blender can be helpful here if you have one.)
Smear the meat chunks with the savoury paste.
Fill several skewers with chunks of seasoned meat.
Grill over medium heat until meat is cooked through, turning once.

Spicy Meat Kabob (Human Version)
1 lb. of beef, cut into large chunks
1 red onion, cut into large chunks
3 jalapeños, cut into large chunks, seeds removed
10+ cloves of garlic, peeled (halve any large cloves)
salt and pepper to taste

Season meat with salt and pepper. Skewer a chunk of onion, followed by a clove (or half clove) of garlic, a chunk of meat, and a piece of chili. Repeat this pattern until the skewer is full. Fill the remaining skewers.
Grill over medium heat until meat is cooked through, turning once.
