Paprika
Don't worry, I'm not going to insist you dry and grind your own paprika from scratch. I am, however, going to suggest a good Terran substitute for Tyrian paprika.
Tyrian paprika is traditionally made from a mix of sweet and hot peppers. Each region has its own particular blend. For most purposes a mixture of good quality Hungarian sweet paprika and chili powder will serve you well. Although do feel free to experiment with hot paprika and other combinations. And, if you're feeling adventerous, by all means, dry and grind your own custom blend of peppers!
