Asparagus and Sage Salad

I quite enjoy a nice plate of grilled asparagus when it's in season. This salad is a nice way to dress it up a bit if you ever find yourself wanting to try something a bit different.


Asparagus and Sage Salad

Ingredients

  • 450g asparagus, ends trimmed
  • 2-3 Tbsp. Simple Dressing
  • 5-6 fresh sage leaves (or 1 tsp. dried sage)
  • zest and juice of half a lemon

Directions

  1. Heat a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the asparagus, dressing, sage, and lemon zest and cook, turning and moving the asparagus occasionally, until it's tender and beginning to brown a bit.
  3. Remove from heat and drizzle in the lemon juice. Toss to coat.
  4. Serve warm or cold.
