Asparagus and Sage Salad
I quite enjoy a nice plate of grilled asparagus when it's in season. This salad is a nice way to dress it up a bit if you ever find yourself wanting to try something a bit different.
Asparagus and Sage Salad
Ingredients
- 450g asparagus, ends trimmed
- 2-3 Tbsp. Simple Dressing
- 5-6 fresh sage leaves (or 1 tsp. dried sage)
- zest and juice of half a lemon
Directions
- Heat a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the asparagus, dressing, sage, and lemon zest and cook, turning and moving the asparagus occasionally, until it's tender and beginning to brown a bit.
- Remove from heat and drizzle in the lemon juice. Toss to coat.
- Serve warm or cold.
